Weber 66015001 Genesis II E-315 3-Burner Natural Gas Grill

Early Homo erectus, the hominids who predated even the Neanderthals, may have had their first taste of cooked flesh after discovering charred boar in the aftermath of a forest fire, even before man understood how to make fire.

They most certainly ate the warm meat, melted fat, and crispy skin on the spot after following the odd, albeit delightful, fragrance of “barbecue” to its source. It sounds like an intriguing backstory.

John Shelton Reed, American author once said, “Southern barbecue is the closest thing we have in the U.S. to Europe’s wines or cheeses. Drive a hundred miles and the barbecue changes.”

The urge to harness the power of fire and roast flesh marked a watershed moment in human history. Cooked beef was easier to chew and digest, and it provided essential fat and protein for brain development and growth.

The act of hunting and cooking over an open fire encouraged sociability and helped tribes and communities emerge.

Weber Inc. is a publicly-traded American manufacturer of outdoor barbecues and related accessories, including charcoal, gas, and electric grills. In a bankruptcy sale in 2004, Weber-Stephen bought some of competitor Ducane’s assets.

It owns restaurants and publishes recipes, among other things. Until 2010, BDT Capital Partners bought controlling ownership in the company, which was previously controlled by the family. It began trading on the stock exchange in 2021.

Method for Managing Residue:

Drippings that aren’t vaporized by the glamorizer bars are channeled away from the burners into the disposable drip tray, which is housed in the removable catch pan beneath the cook box. As needed, just remove the catch pan and replace the drip tray.

Our Opinion:

I’m a major outdoor chef and barbeque pitmaster, and I needed to replace my old SS grill, which was rusted out and over 20 years old.

I looked for approximately two weeks before deciding that this Webber was the right match for my family, parties, and overall needs, and that it featured all the bells and whistles that I required.

I chose the cabinet doors over the open door look and protection since I am not a huge fan of the open door look. I’ve had roughly 30 meals on the grill so far (over three months), and it’s been fantastic. Even heat distribution, sturdy construction, excellent ergonomic design and appearance, and simple to clean.
